It’s best to use raw so they get toasted freshly in the wok (or skillet) for maximum flavour development. Here’s what you need for this Thai stir fry with chicken:Ĭashews – The nuts are actually the star ingredient in this stir fry! They bring texture, flavour and nutty richness to the party. What goes in Thai Cashew Chicken Stir Fry No one would see this wok of goodness and think, “It doesn’t look like there’s enough flavour in that,”… Right? □ Raw cashews are paler and softer than roasted cashews. There’s plenty of flavour coating the stir fry ingredients that stains and flavours the rice when you mix it through. So you don’t need nor do you want a ton of sauce to soak your rice. Stir fries featuring cashews are a favourite across Asia and the Thai version is one of the best! Unlike Chinese Cashew Chicken which is generous on sauce, the Thai version is a drier style stir fry where the sauce flavour is much more intense. This is a great Thai food favourite that’s incredibly quick to make. Crunchy golden cashews and chicken are tossed in a simple yet bold Thai stir fry sauce with as much or as little fresh chilli as you want! Thanks again and best wishes. While Thai Cashew Chicken is not as saucy as Chinese Cashew Chicken, what it lacks in sauciness it makes up for in big flavour. Excellent stay and fantastic value for money. Maybe I'll be visiting the family more because of this hotel. I'll definitely be booking this hotel again. I will definitely return to Nakhon to visit my new Thai family. Excellent value for money! Couldn't fault the stay at the Grand Fortune Hotel. We were visiting family, so didn't get chance to use those facilities during our stay. However there is a decent size swimming pool with a nice looking Spa complex and a well equipped gym. himself would enjoy a stay here! This is a City centre hotel, if you're looking for a large swimming pool complex, this place may not be for you. I think the hotel is owned by the CP group, which owns the 7/11 group, and many of the large supermarkets here in Thailand. We even had dinner there one night and that too was fabulous. I tried everything during my 5 night stay. The fittings looked and felt high quality too. Everything perfect in the room and worked just fine. Oh my goodness, the best mattress, bedding and pillows I've ever slept on. Check in fine, staff on the front desk couldn't be better. They even organised a hire car for us, which was great. The concierge guys at the hotel were fantastic. Flew down from Don Meuang and was collected from the airport by the hotel taxi, a great service. Originally only booked for two nights, however the hotel was so good, I soon changed it to five. There is no kettle provided in the room so you have to go to the outdoor lobby area to get hot water, a bit inconvenient but at least it’s provided. The sound travels from the corridor but I don’t think there were many guests during our stay so it wasn’t too bad. Only one key provided so if you leave the room after taking a shower, the power turns off and you come back to a damp bathroom as the air vent is shut off. The water heater for the shower is timed and you would get a sudden blast of hot water or ice cold water so you need to time your bath. Room felt a little bare and minimal amenities provided. There is also a craft beer bar next to the hotel (which looks like it’s designed or owned by the hotel?) where we watched the World Cup. There is a great street food market just beyond the bridge on the left of the main road. The bed was comfortable and I liked the hair dryer provided. Quite a few car parks both covered and uncovered are available. Hotel was located just off the main road and suitable for travellers with a car.
